Active Baby – fun exercise videos for tots

Looking for good ways to keep your baby entertained? BabyTV’s ‘Hands Up’ offers activities for you to try at home that help your baby keep active and build important motor skills while having fun and bonding.
It's important to keep in mind that every child develops at a different pace, so if yours isn't quite ready for a specific activity, don't worry. Just try again in a few weeks…
Activities use toys or objects that can be found at home or easily made.

Turn a simple mattress into something fun and educational!

Help your child develop their crawling skills in an easy and enjoyable way.
Peek-a-boo can be played anywhere – even under a mattress!

Your child will learn important balancing skills such as sitting with his or her hands over their head or with one foot in the air.

Teach your child to name his or her body parts while having fun!

Cylinder:

Develop your child’s fine motor skills at an early age!

Your child will have fun fitting and removing pompoms from a cylinder; in the process he/she will learn concepts such as inside and outside, appear and disappear and sharing.

Rubber Ring:

Clapping can be fun with your hands and your feet!

Your child can practice putting one hand and then two hands into a rubber ring and then clap! Will it be easy to do the same with your feet? Find out!

Beach Ball:

You don’t have to go to the beach to have fun with a beach ball!

With a simple beach ball your child can roll about on his or her stomach, lift the upper body, and fly like an airplane.

Jelly:

Why eat Jelly when you can have fun with it first?

Using a plastic bag you can roll the Jelly over your baby’s arms and legs and even put it under their shirt! Encourage your child to discover new textures and temperatures.

Cylinder II:

Have fun with your child and roll the cylinder back and forth to one another. Use your hands, your feet or any other body part you can think of!

Bottles:

Hide a bottle under a handkerchief and play knock-knock. Put the handkerchief over your head and try to blow on it. There are endless games you can play with everyday objects that can be found in every home.

Play with it, drop it, stretch it!
